An Interview Series
Black Power Yellow Peril documents a dialogue between Black and Asian minorities in America through a series of interviews. While it is common to naturally gravitate towards own racial groups, Black and Asian communities seem to be drastically divided when both have similar experiences against racism and the White privilege. Inspired by the phrase, “Yellow Peril supports Black Power,” which proclaims Asian and Black solidarity, Black Power Yellow Peril initiates conversation on this topic amongst the two minorities.
